Oil
is now closing back in on $80 a barrel!
The need for oil will continue to be one
of the most sought after resources for decades to come,
and the Companies that can seek the undiscovered oil &
natural gas and extract it to the surface will also be
in great need. With
MCKE
having several key properties all across the U.S.,
especially one that lies within a target trend that has
produced over 2.2 billion barrels of oil, chances of
success are dramatically increased. With the recent
run-up in prices in the stock as well as the Company's
strategically located properties, we encourage our
investors to take a closer look into Morgan Creek Energy
Corp.
MCKE
has also entered into an agreement with Bonanza
Resources to acquire a 70% interest in the North Fork 3-
Prospect in Beaver County Oklahoma. The prospect is
being targeted for oil production that Bonanzas land
and technical team have identified using specialized 3-D
seismic technology and through interpretation of
geological data available on current producing wells
from the area.
The two key formations on the North Fork
are identified as the Morrow A & B Channel Sands. These
formations are productive on several fields adjoining
but remain unexplored on the area under option to Morgan
Creek Energy. The lower Morrow Sands could also prove a
target.
Bonanza Resources has spent over $1.5
million to acquire its 85% interest in the North Fork
Prospect and carry out comprehensive 3-D seismic imaging
and analysis. The company has joined with MCKE
in order to move the prospect
immediately
into the drilling stage, which is planned for this year
Typically the Morrow A & B Channels have
porosities in excess of 20%, high permeability, high
production rates and very high acre foot recoveries.
Morrow A sands in the immediate area are primarily oil
productive with
initial production rates from 250 600 BOPD.
Primary reserves for the oil wells in the area
average 200,000 B.O. per well. Based on initial data
provided by the technical team, reserves for the Morrow
A on the Prospect could be in
excess of 2.4 million
barrels of oil with 4
BCF of associated
gas.
