I have found a new speculative stock to watch in the green environment friendly sector that I think could become a nice winner from the current price! The company I am talking about is FWTC and is trading for only $0.035 right now!
FWTC is a unique company that is targeting an industry that is important to consumers and businesses around the world. FWTC is an international marketer and distributor of chemical free drinking water purification systems, water softeners & commercial water activation systems.
Most people take for granted how fortunate we are to have clean drinking water every day. Did you know that less than 1% of the world's water is suitable for drinking? That means 99% of the rest of the water must be purified! Did you ever wonder how this is done? Well it is companies like FWTC that make this happen! FWTC is targeting a multi-billion dollar industry with its technology!
I don't know about you but aren't you tired of spending your money on countless amounts of bottled water!? With hard economic times many people are and they are turning to water purification systems like FWTC's to save them money.
Not only are consumers becoming more aware and interested in FWTC's technology and products but so are businesses! This industry is HUGE!
FWTC currently offers two product lines of drinking water treatment products and one water activation product line. FWTC markets its products to 11 local distributors and retailers in Argentina, Chile, Columbia, Costa Rica, Panama and Peru!
The first product I want to get into is FWTC's water activation technology. Earlier this year, FWTC signed a joint venture with ELCE International Corp., a manufacturer of patented water activation technology, the company who has been a significant supplier to FWTC for a number of years. The most positive aspects of the joint venture agreement will be that ELCE International will not only supply its ELCE water activation units at manufacturer's cost to FWTC but will work with FWTC to market and sell the products!
ELCE water activation technology is an innovative, patented chemical free method that has proven its effectiveness in removing rust, scale and corrosion deposits in commercial and industrial boiler and refrigeration systems. ELCE water activation technology is based on principles of electrical fluidization where extremely hard ceramic balls are placed inside a stainless steel container. As water passes through the container, the ceramic balls rotate and rub against each other producing several forms of electrical energy. The result is that all the corrosion and accumulated deposits are removed by the water activation process and no new deposits are able to be formed. This product and technology is huge for businesses! On top of it FWTC and ELCE offer a 10- year guarantee on the product! Obviously they're confident in their technology!
Given the current world wide economic crisis, manufacturers are being forced to become even more productive in terms of output in order to survive and grow. FWTC and joint venture partner ELCE are targeting this nice market to increase manufacturing productivity in terms of greater output and reduction of manufacturing costs.
As rust, scale, and corrosion accumulates in boilers, refrigeration units, and cooling towers, these accumulations hinder operating efficiency and most significantly increases energy costs. For example, even 1 mm of scale causes an 8% increase in total energy use. Given the increasing cost of energy sources, an ELCE water activation unit is a sound investment removing all material buildup while generating energy savings.
FWTC is well positioned to capitalize on this growing concern among public safety organizations and regulatory agencies about the hazards posed by disinfection byproducts and unwanted chemicals in water supplies and to capitalize on the growing preference for environmentally friendly water treatment solutions. Water and Wastewater News calculated that removing and/or preventing scale by chemical methods costs an estimated $25 to $30 billion per year in the United States alone! FWTC and ELCE products effectively eliminate the buildup of scale using no chemicals and eliminating the need to buy and store chemicals, the use of which also reduces equipment life!
FWTC's joint venture with ELCE International presents huge advantages in the multi-billion water activation technology market!
Why is this a better solution? Traditionally, harsh chemicals are used to remove accumulation of materials adhering to pipes that use water as part of a heating or cooling solution.
Drawbacks to chemical use
• Chemicals are an ongoing expense requiring storage and handling costs
• Constant use of chemicals reduces the life expectancy of equipment
• Environmental regulations are restricting the discharge of hazardous elements
FWTC/ELCE Advantage
• No ongoing material costs as in the case of chemicals
• Minimal labor and installation costs
• The water normally used in heating and cooling applications is what eliminates scale
• There is a 10 year manufacturer's guarantee with payback often in less than years. Since there is only the one time cost for purchase and installation of the actual units
• No harmful chemicals introduced into the environment
• The amount of water flow in a system determines the size of each ELCE unit with units capable of handling from 15 liters per minute to 2100 liters per minute.
FWTC Solutions in AGRICULTURE
• In crop growing, ELCE has proven to promote better water absorption and superior root growth, thicker and longer stems, brighter colors and an overall increase in crop yields within a shorter growing period.
FWTC in Fish and Shrimp Farming
• ELCE activated water promotes plankton and algae growth which is most important in supporting the fish food chain without altering the composition of the water in which the Fish and Shrimp are being raised.
FWTC has a proven patented technology that is chemical free,/environmentally friendly, has no comparable competition in terms of water activation, has applications for heating & cooling, agriculture and fish/shrimp farming and an attractive financial scenario based on a significant joint venture with the manufacturer and superior returns due to a long term rental strategy. Their distributors work on a commission basis and they maintain a lean corporate structure.
FWTC also currently offers two product lines of drinking water treatment products! The first drinking water treatment products' line is Sterilight branded ultraviolet products that are supplied to FWTC by R-Can Environmental Inc., a leading international manufacturer based out of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Sterilight branded R-Can ultraviolet water treatment systems incorporate ultraviolet light energy to eradicate microbiological contaminants in drinking water. Traditional disinfection methods like chlorination react with natural organic matter producing objectionable taste and odor and also form substances with known carcinogenic properties such as trihalomethane, a byproduct of chlorine which can cause miscarriages in pregnant women. Ultraviolet imparts no residual chemicals into the water. This process makes the treated water safe for human consumption. The Sterilight ultraviolet lamp emits powerful ultraviolet light energy. Genetic or hereditary components contained in the water borne contaminants absorb the light energy. The energy of the ultra violet lamps disrupts the DNA structure of contaminants and prevents their reproduction. It is the disruption of reproduction by ultra violet treatment that renders the drinking water safe for human consumption. Sterilight lamps provide consistent ultraviolet output over the 9,000 hour life of the lamp and uniform temperature distribution that can provide the desired levels of decontamination.
The second drinking water treatment products' line features the ozone water treatment systems of Ozocan Corporation for the countries of Argentina, Chile, Peru, Costa Rica and Panama. As a proven disinfectant, ozone is 1.5 times powerful than chlorine and, unlike chlorine, it discharges no potentially harmful substances into the environment. Used in a variety of water treatment applications, Ozocan's products effectively treat municipal and industrial drinking water and waste water, are used in bottled water applications as well as treating air conditioning and cooling tower installations. Ozocan systems has been around since 1954 and can be found throughout the globe either as custom designed applications or in one of a number of standard sized units that can meet the effective treatment needs of a wide variety of customers.
Ozocan has a world-wide network of sales and service personnel. In addition to its custom designed applications to meet individual customer needs, Ozocan also has a range of standardized affordable and efficient production models that can meet most water treatment requirements. Ozocan is an important strategic asset for FWTC given its eco-friendly technology and the company’s ability to design and manufacture a very wide range of water treatment applications.
FWTC might also become a huge agriculture play! FWTC just announced HUGE news this morning that their patented water activation technology demonstrated very positive evidence of ELCE’s ability to improve crop production in greenhouse vegetable growing operations. ELCE provides better water absorption which increases growth rate of roots and plants, reduces fertilizer and pesticide applications and produces consistent quality due to strict control over temperature, light and humidity, growth factors not possible to consistently control in outdoor conditions. Water activation does reduce the size of water molecules and the water’s surface tension. The result: a higher level of ability to penetrate cell membranes in both plant and living organisms, the key factor to improving overall plant growing effectiveness.
“Grown under Glass-The Future of Greenhouse–Grown Product”, a March 2009 article in Produce Merchandising, clearly indicates that greenhouse-grown produce offers consistent quality, year round availability, a uniform and attractive appearance plus a more efficient use of growing space as available farm land will drop to a third of 1950 acreage. ELCEs’ proven agricultural application allows Freshwater to capitalize on the growing consumer preference for high quality greenhouse produce. For example, a Michigan State University study “The Market for Greenhouse Grown Food” showed that in USA, Canada and Mexico alone over 587,078 metric tons of tomatoes were consumed in a single year. Cucumbers and lettuce are highly desired greenhouse crops which have also benefited from ELCE’s ability to improve larger, healthier plants while controlling costs and ensuring predictable growing conditions. Given that Produce Merchandising has estimated that the demand for agricultural goods will double in the next 50 years, there are significant opportunities for Freshwater to capitalize on the need to produce more food while reducing fertilizer and pesticide use and conserving water and energy costs to provide affordable food on a year round basis. Given Freshwater’s already growing heating and cooling systems applications and exploration of other commercial/industrial applications for the unique aspects of ELCE water activation, their crop improvement capabilities represent yet another exciting opportunity for the Company!
