FLMP manufactures Fire Retardant Protection Systems such as- Flame Retardant Liquids, Coatings, Wraps and Wall Panel Systems.

 Their homepage (http://www.flameseal.com) shows several videos of their flagship product in fire retardancy – the FX-100 coating. Used in homes, on products such as curtains, walls, even furniture, this non-toxic film can be applied with a brush, roller, or even in spray form. As the spray can be applied to almost any surface – porous and non-porous alike – the viable uses for a technology as versatile and powerful as this are nearly boundless. The most convincing and readily handy proof of this is a demo video on the company website that shows a piece of cardboard that was coated with the recommended volume of FX-100 (150-350 sq. ft. to a gallon – roughly the same coverage capacities of a gallon of paint). The treated cardboard is then directly exposed the flame from a butane torch that is held just inches away. (As a testament to the true power of the product, the tester actually holds the cardboard square in his ungloved palm.) For over a minute, the cardboard is exposed to the torch's flame, as the film of the FX-100 treatment thickens and blackens. At the conclusion of the test, the damaged film is simply scraped off to show the completely unharmed cardboard underneath.

The real promise of Flame Seal's product line lies in its use in the aeronautic industry. The Leather Seal™ Fire Retardant already used to fireproof aircraft interiors, and has been tested by Diversified Testing Laboratories for the standards of Motor Vehicle Safety as well for the Federal Aviation Administration.

In addition to the coating technology set forth by Flame Seal, they also created the FBS-SL Panel, which is basically a firewall system that fits over existing wall structures. Initially developed by Flame Seal for use by British Petroleum, the upgraded FBS-SL was recently installed at Prudoe Bay, Alaska, to provide an upgrade to a two-hour firewall. They also provide similar systems that are applied to cable trays and conduits, and was initially designed for the Nuclear Power Industry.

As of March 2000, FLMP became an official supplier for the Aerospace Industry, and over the years has seen drastic increases in the level of interest in their products.

In addition, there has been increasing overseas interest as well, as several companies seek distribution and promotional rights in the European and Asian markets. These developments are the result of successful testing with Boeing and others in the Aerospace industry, solving fire resistance problems that are targeted by new FAA guidelines.
